           AUGUST 21 1999
TAZEWELL SPEEDWAY Saturday night August 21, 1999. Stacy
"The Sheriff" Boles #11b had been under cover all year
just playing the waiting game to take his first Big Win.
Starting from his 5th place starting position ran down
pole setter, Billy "The Kid" Ogle Jr. #201 on his return
to the high speed TAZ. Ogle had the petal to the metal
and beat Jack Trammell #90 in to the 1st turn. Bill Reed
#28 (yel) moved along side of Trammell battled it out for
2nd place door to door, till lap 4. On the back stretch

(blk) on their bumper several lap went by with no one
giving, with a blanket you could have covered them. Lap
34, "The Sheriff" got under "The Kid" he had caught him,
but then the shocker "The Kid" has a tire go down. With
the tire changed Ogle restarted in the 7 place in front
of lap traffic, he was to chase the Sherill now. Lap 35
Ogle moved by Treece in to 6 th, Lap 36 "The Kid" got him
another one , by moving by Wolfenbarger. Now we had "The
Sheriff" being chased by, Trammell, Reed, Brian Hendrix
