MILLER AND HELLER TAKE OAKSHADE WINS

Hillard Miller picked up his second UMP Latemodel feature of the season at the Oakshade Raceway. The Defiance, Ohio driver dueled for the first 15 circuits of the 25 lap event before his opponent Rody Schroyer succumbed to the pressure of Miller. Miller then had to hold of Justin Paxton for the final 10 laps. Jim Fleming out ran Schroyer and Butch Hobling for a third place finish. A strong 42 car field competed at the 3/8 mile dirt oval.

Todd Heller secured his quest for the 360 Sprint point title by fending off a hard charging Jody Keegan at the finish of their feature. Willie Keegan notched a third place tally while Dan Short and J.R. Stewart came home fourth and fifth.

Mike Stockmaster earned his first Sportsman main event of the year by beating out Brad Kendall at the conclusion of the 20 lap main. Rich Noonan, Ray Klawitter, and Bud Brown were third fourth and fifth respectively.

Bob Rendel came in first in the Bomber A main for his initial win of the 1999 season. Gary Schaffer and Tim Wilson were second and third. The Bomber B,C, and D mains were taken by Bill Reeves Sr., Kevin Cole, and Tommy Jo Huff. Next Saturday Oakshade will host season championships for all four divisions with racing at 7:00 PM A total of 201 drivers were on hand for the 13th night of racing at the Wauseon
