Eldora Speedway

Rossburg,Oh (Oct 8) Heavy Rains which moved into Ohio on Friday after noon,along with the forecast for continued rains for the balance of the weekend forced a postponement of the United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Fall Nationals slated for Saturday and Sunday (Oct 9 & 10) at Eldora Speedway.

Due to the multitude of special events already in place at speedways throughout the Midwest in coming weeks, Eldora promoter Earl Baltes and UMP President Bob Memmer have opted to carry the race over until April of 2000.

The postponement has brought to a close the 1999 auto racing season at Eldora Speedway.
