Thunder Valley Raceway

The Wheeler Trackside Late Models posted a furious race marred with two caution flags, Heat race winners. Tom Myers in the 5OE and Rick Singleton in the 99, on row one placed the Late Model competitors as the field came onto the track for the feature event. As Myers and Singleton lead the field through laps one and two, it was on lap three when the I8X of "Russian Rocket" John Britsky went to the inside on turns three and four to pass Myers and Singleton to gain the lead position. From the point of the pass, Britsky rocketed around the half-mile track leading the rest of the pack in the 25-lap feature. Crossing the finish line it was the 18X of John Britsky. in 2nd the 5OE of Torn Myers. in 3rd the 33 of Carl Billet, in 4th was Bob Salathe in RG3, and 5th scoring spot went to Mike Altobelli in the Four Seasons Home car 80.
