FIELD PARTIALLY SET FOR "19TH ANNUAL CONOCOCHEAGUE 100"

 Sixteen driver's earned starting position's for the STARS National DirtCar Racing League sanctioned $10,000 to win "19th Annual Conococheague 100" at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown,MD Friday night. But the pole position has yet to be determined as that will be decided Saturday with the running of the ISKY RACING CAMS dash which feature's the fastest six driver's from time trials that advanced to the "19th Annual Conococheague 100" from the BORLA EXHAUST heat races. In addition to the ISKY RACING CAMS dash,position's 17 through 22 for the feature event will be filled through the PRO SHOCKS "B" Main. The final row of the 24 car starting field will go to the fastest driver from time trials that fails to make the field and to the highest STARS point driver that fails to make the field.

 Steve Shaver, the next to last driver to qualify, topped the 41 car field
in time trials to start off the action Friday night touring the immaculate
semi-banked 1/2 mile at 19.625 seconds. Grabbing BORLA EXHAUST heat race wins were Shaver, Gary Stuhler, Chub Frank and Todd Andrews. Driver's transfering from the BORLA EXHAUST heat races to the "19th Annual Conococheague 100" in addition to the heat winner's were Davey Johnson,Donnie Moran and Roy Deese Jr. from heat #1; Jeff Robinson, Nathan Durboraw and Booper Bare from heat #2; D.J. Myers, Andy Anderson and Jim Bernheisel from heat #3 and Jeremy Miller, Charlie Schaffer and Marvin Winters from heat #4. Qualifying for the ISKY RACING CAMS dash, which will determine the first three rows of the feature event by the finish, are Myers, Robinson,Moran, Andrews, Anderson and Shaver.

 Pit gates for the second day of racing at Hagerstown Speedway will open at 4:00 pm with spectator gates opening at 5:00 pm. An "Autograph Session" will take place from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm with warm-ups at 6:30 pm and racing at 7:00 pm. The 20 lap PRO SHOCKS "B" Main, transfering the top 6 finisher's to the feature event, will start the racing action followed by the ISKY RACING CAMS dash. The Hagerstown Speedway Pure Stocks will fill in the card prior to the running of the "19th Annual Conococheague 100".
