CLEARFIELD, PA- After thirteen consecutive weeks of racing action, Hidden Valley Speedway has endured two rain outs! The latest coming Saturday night. With this rain out the schedule has gone through a series of changes.

This Saturday, August 21st the KARS Sprints will make their first ever visit to the Valley. To spice things up the series is running for double points for the first time every. Joining the KARS sprints in action are the Sids Subs Small Block Modifieds, Weisgarber Auto Sale Street Stocks, Keystone Computer Four Cylinders, and NAPA Pure Stocks. Gates will open at five with racing at 7 PM.

This is the first time since 1972 that the open wheel winged warriors have visited Clearfield County. It should be a super show.

With the sprints being in action, the super stock invitational and the street stock special will now be held on August 28th, and the pure stock special will be run on September 2nd. The Budweiser Late Models will return to action Saturday August 28th.

Two big Late Model specials still dot the schedule and they are September 2nd, the Hub-City Qualifier, and the Two Day Claude Dean Luzier Memorial on September 18 and 19. Watch the web site at  www.key-net.net/users/hvs for more information on these events.
