RECENT RESULTS FOR WINCHESTER SPEEDWAY

LATE MODELS: Bo Feathers recorded victory number three in convincing fashion as he powered away from the field to record the late model victory at the Winchester Speedway. Feathers started eleventh but quickly moved to the fornt using the high side of the racetrack. He took the lead from early race leader Roy Anderson and cruised to the win. Anderson held on for second to record his best finish of the year. Following Feathers and Anderson across the line were Gerald Davis, Tommy Armel, Richard Shutts, Mike Warshauer, Ernie Jones, Steven Haight, Mike Hardy and Brad Omps. Heat race winners were Anderson and Jesse Sheckler. SEMI-LATES: The semi-late model event saw Jonathan DeHaven record win number four by capturing the fifteen lap main event. Following DeHaven in the feature were Steve Payne, Herk Armel, Mike Betson and Mark Hottle. Heat winners were Eric Kerns and Jeff FAnning. PURE STOCKS: The pure stock feature had last year's point champion Terry Staton record his first victory of the '99 season. Following Staton across the l ine was Brad Ritter, Dennis Lamb, Brian Tavenner and Jimmy Wilson. Heat winners were Lamb, Jack Alexander and Glenn Berry. Consolation race was won by Mike Franklin. 4 CYLINDERS: The four cylinder feature saw J.T. Spence capture the 20-lap summer championship. Following Spence were Leo Nichols, Ed Gageby, Danny Lichliter and Megan Osborne. Four Cylinder heat winners were Nichols, Osborne and Joe Holtsclaw. Consolation race was won by Lichliter.
