 ELDORA SPEEDWAY

                        13929 S.R. 118                        New Weston, OH 45348 (937) 338-3815

ROSSBURG, Ohio -- Kenny Jacobs can race with confidence Saturday night at Eldora Speedway, as the Holmesville, Ohio native has clinched both the All Star Circuit of Champions and Eldora Sprint championships. With no fret over earning points, Jacobs can concentrate on what he has done better than anyone else when it comes to All Star racing at Eldora Speedway - win races. Jacobs has won 19 of the 100 All Star Sprint races contested on the Eldora one-half mile clay oval to date, including two this year.

Joining the All Stars Saturday night will be the Sunoco sponsored American Late Model Series (ALMS) as they wrap up their season with the annual Johnny Appleseed Classic, along with the Eldora Stock Cars.

Jerry Bowersock heads up the ALMS points race and is a shoe-in for the crown, while the Stock Car points baffle is intense. Barney Craig currently holds a slim two-point margin over Scoff Bowersock, who, in turn, seven points ahead of Kevin Gossard. Defending champion Rob Trent holds down fourth spot, ten tallies behind Gossard, and all four have a mathematical chance to wearing the crown.

Saturday’s tripleheader gets underway at 6:30 with the warm-up sessions, followed by the racing action, slated to take the green flag at 8:00 PM.
