McKean County Raceway

Smethport,Pa.-For only the second time this year McKean county Raceway was washed out Saturday night. Heats for the Super Stocks and Sportsman were run and the completion of one Late Model heat was finished when promoter Dennis Shutt asked the fans to exit the grandstand due to an impending severe thunderstorm. Following a 20 minute wait, the decision to cancel the remainder of the show was made.

  As a result the complete Johnson Distributing triple 30's for the Late Models, Super Stocks and Sportsman, plus the 25 Lap Lee Anderson Memorial for the Street Stocks has been re-scheduled for this upcoming Saturday Night.

  Also the Late Model NAPA King of the Hill as well as Speedo the Clown will be part of the big show sponsored by Wayne Paving and Gravel/Wayne Concrete of Shinglehouse,Pa.

  McKean County Raceway is located at the junction of Routes 6 & 46 in Smethport,Pa. Gates open at 5, racing at 7pm.
