Eric Platt was back after his recent win on July 10th. Eric chased Rick Singler for 30 laps, but Rick from Ormond Beach made his car very wide and Platt could not make the pass to the front. Singler went on with the win, his 3rd of the year. Singler is now 2nd in the points trailing Rod Burton, from Ocala by 25 points and Mike Eubanks also from Ocala is 3rd.

In the Street: Stock division, Dave Kinsey also from Ocala, took a comfortable lead, and Was never seriously Challenged, Robble Barris was 2nd and Steve Wortman 3rd.

Charles Kinsey led the Hobby Stock competition for the 19 laps until Big Al Gray passed him in the fourth turn and Kinsey kept charging but Gray finished half a car length. Most exciting finish.

Father and son were the winners in the Pure and Mini Stock divisions. They repeated their feat of last week with Travis the son winning his 2nd in a row,
