STRONGSTOWN, PA- For the second time in 1999, Mother Nature took a win at Dog Hollow Speedway. With 30 late models signed into the pits to tune in for the special this week, the skies opened up, and the rain began to fall. The skies appeared to be clearing behind the stands, but they never did, and heavy down pours forced Jim and John Michny to cancel the program.

This sets up an exciting program for this coming Friday, July 9th. The first late model special of the season posts a total purse of $8, 800, with $1,500 going to the winner of the 35 lap event. The race also pays $200 to start. There will be regular racing for the super stocks, street stocks, and pure stocks, and gates will open at 5 PM for competitors, 6 PM for spectators, and racing gets underway at 8 PM Sharp!
